Named one of the regions 10 Power Brokers by CoStar Group, Marlene was recognized for her volume of sales and leasing transactions of multiple types of commercial properties.

She has also been named #1 choice as ” Best Commercial Broker” in the New England area's 2011 Best Choice Award Edition. Over 50,000 voters participated.

Marlene founded Investment Property Specialists (IPS) in 1985 with a partner. She purchased 100% of the company in 1990, becoming the first woman to own a commercial real estate firm in Massachusetts.


In 2001, the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce honored  IPS  with their "Small Business of the Year Award” due to its financial success and assisstance given to other businesses organizations in the Metrowest region. 


In 2007 Marlene successfully sold IPS and joined Metrowest Commercial Real Estate owned by Eric Brosler, a former Vice President at IPS. She has always a top producer for both firms.


In 2006 Marlene  also received the internationally known “Athena Award," in recognition of her work helping other businesswomen reach their goals. 


In December of 2012, she received the “Leadership & Inspiration Award “from the Natick Chabad, where she now serves as Chair of their Advisory Board. She has also served as Chair of the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of Jewish Family Services of Metrowest.


Marlene’s expertise in the sales and leasing of commercial properties spans industrial and manufacturing properties, medical facilities, general office space, retail  and properties for redevelopment.

Her understanding of state building requirements and ADA guidelines provides clients seeking properties for redevelopment or change of use, valuable insight into necessary changes, adaptations and potential costs of compliance.

A very successful listing and selling agent with 35 years of experience, Marlene has an extensive network of investors and potential financing resources for her clients.

She prides herself on service and is accessible to her clients at all times.

A devoted fan of Hot Yoga, Marlene lives in Framingham with her husband Bob. She has a grown son, 2 step-children and 4 grandchildren.
